Friend ship poem

Friendship tastes like sweet colourful lollies on a plate.

Friendship smells like lovely beautiful flowers falling from a green tree.

Friendship looks like sparkling shining stars twinkling in the dark shadowy sky.

Friendship

Friendships smells like popcorn, shared with your friends in a dark movie theatre.

Friendship sounds like people chewing bubble gum.

Friendship feels like me and my friend doing our handshake.

Friendship looks like snappers flying through a river.

Friendship taste like me eating my favourite cheese cake.

Day and Night

Night and day

In the day kids play while adults watch them have fun at the wonderful park.

In the night the cats run around, while birds are singing in the trees at the scary park.

A Boys Head

A Boy’s Head

In it there is a chocolate bar
and a project
for doing away with music lessons.

And there is
wrapper
which shall be first.

And there is
an entirely new bear,
an entirely new turtle
an entirely new rhinoceros.

There is a stream
that flows upwards.

There is an elephant.

There is an antivirus.

And it cannot be held back.

I believe that only what cannot be held back
is a head.

There is much promise
in the circumstance
that so many people have heads.

I asked the little boy who could not see

I asked the little boy who could not see
“And what is colour like?”
“White,” said he
“Is like a soft snow man that I built.
Orange is like drinking fresh orange juice that I made myself.
Brown is like touching a horse in a stable.
Yellow is like flowers singing a beautiful song to me.
Green is when you can hear the leaves swishing in the trees.
Black is like eating jelly beans.
And grey is wearing our school t-shirts with pride.
