Six Sentence Story -

The heroic dinosaur

A long time ago in a galaxy far,far away there lived a very friendly dinosaur.

He lived in a place called Ancient Egypt, as that was where he was born.

The dinosaur had a very good talent for helping other people, since he made them happy.

One night very evil aliens came and invaded, the dinosaur hid in a cave but he wanted to help and stop people getting hurt.

He liked helping people and being the hero so that all the kids looked up to him.

Then Bob the donut came and he worked with the dinosaur to defeat the evil aliens with big donut rifles.

When we are doing research we need to find corroborating sources of information.  A good way to do this is to find a book and a website that give you the same information.  This means that the information in most likely to be accurate.

Using a glossary

Sometimes a book also has a glossary at the beginning or the end.  This gives short explanations of specialised or difficult terms used in the book.  The following is an example is from a book about the moon.
